  • 1 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
  • 1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage (or 2 tablespoons fresh, chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  1. Preheat oven to 165Β°C (330Β°F).
  2. Mix mashed sweet potato with beaten egg and olive oil.
  3. Combine both flours and sage in a separate bowl.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until a firm dough forms.
  5. Roll out to about 1cm thick on a floured surface.
  6. Cut into shapes and place on lined baking trays.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes until firm and dry to touch.
  8. Cool completely β€” they'll continue hardening.
