Teething puppies need something safe to chew on, and these frozen teething sticks are the perfect solution. The cold soothes sore gums while the oat and sweet potato provide nutrition. Much safer than ice cubes or hard bones for tiny teeth!

π₯ Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mashed sweet potato (cooked and cooled)
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup plain yoghurt
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
π©βπ³ Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170Β°C (340Β°F).
- Mix mashed sweet potato, yoghurt, egg, and coconut oil.
- Add oat flour gradually until a firm dough forms.
- Roll into stick shapes about 6cm long and 1cm thick.
- Place on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 15 minutes until just set β don't make them too hard.
- Cool completely, then freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve frozen directly from the freezer.
π Storage
Store baked sticks in the freezer for up to 3 months. Serve directly from frozen. Once thawed, refrigerate and use within 2 days.
π Nutrition Notes
The cold temperature helps numb sore teething gums and reduce inflammation. Sweet potato provides gentle nutrition. Yoghurt adds calcium for developing adult teeth. The soft-baked texture won't damage emerging teeth.
