π Nutrition Notes
Liver is incredibly nutrient-dense β rich in vitamin A (for vision), B12 (for nerve function), iron (for blood health), and copper. Parsley adds vitamin K and chlorophyll. These nutrients become even more important as dogs age and absorption can decrease.
π‘ Tips
- Blend the liver smooth for the softest possible treats
- Liver is very rich β 2-3 small treats per day is enough
- The baking tin method creates perfectly uniform treats
- These are excellent for senior dogs who've lost interest in eating
πΎ Senior Dog Note: These treats are designed to be gentle on ageing teeth and digestive systems. Senior dogs may have reduced kidney or liver function, so keep treats moderate. If your senior dog has specific health conditions, consult your vet about appropriate treats.
