Yoghurt contains beneficial probiotics that support a healthy oral microbiome, potentially reducing the bacteria that cause plaque and bad breath. Dill has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Together they provide a two-pronged approach to dental health.
π‘ Tips
- Use plain, unsweetened yoghurt β always check the label for xylitol which is toxic to dogs
- Fresh dill has stronger antibacterial properties than dried
- Small bites encourage more chewing per treat session
- These pair well with a regular tooth brushing routine
