π₯ Ingredients
- 1 cup cassava flour
- 150g beef heart, finely minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon beef tallow or coconut oil, melted
- 2 tablespoons beef bone broth
π©βπ³ Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170Β°C (340Β°F).
- Trim any large pieces of fat from beef heart and mince finely (or ask your butcher to mince it).
- Mix cassava flour and minced beef heart in a bowl.
- Beat egg with melted tallow/oil and bone broth.
- Add wet to dry and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Roll into stick shapes about 6cm long.
- Place on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 25 minutes until firm on the outside but still slightly chewy inside.
- Cool on the tray.

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Beef heart is one of the most nutritious organ meats β it's essentially a muscle, so it's high in protein, CoQ10 (coenzyme Q10 for heart health), taurine, B vitamins, and iron. Cassava flour is easily digestible and completely grain-free.
