Inspired by human breakfast bars, these wholesome chewy treats combine oats and apple for a nutritious, energy-boosting treat. They're perfect for active dogs who need a little extra fuel, or as a morning treat to start the day right.

π₯ Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup apple, peeled and finely diced
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (no xylitol)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup water

- Preheat oven to 170Β°C (340Β°F).
- Mix rolled oats and diced apple in a bowl.
- Warm peanut butter and honey together until easy to stir.
- Beat egg with water and add to peanut butter mixture.
- Pour wet ingredients over oat mixture and stir until everything is coated.
- Press firmly into a lined 20cm square baking tin.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden but still soft in the centre.
- Cool in the tin for 15 minutes, then cut into bars.
- Remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
π Storage
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. Freeze individually wrapped for up to 3 months.
