Lamb & Mint Fresh Training Bites

Lamb & Mint Fresh Training Bites

These lamb and mint bites are a sophisticated training treat that works double duty — the lamb provides high-value motivation while the mint freshens breath. They're particularly good for training sessions with lots of up-close face work (like teaching 'watch me' or desensitisation exercises) because your dog's breath won't knock you sideways. The lamb smell gets dogs excited, and the mint keeps things pleasant for the human end.

📊 Nutrition Notes

Lamb provides high-quality protein with iron and zinc. Mint contains menthol which freshens breath naturally. The combination creates a treat that's motivating for the dog and pleasant for the trainer.

💡 Tips

  • Drain lamb fat well — too much fat can cause digestive issues
  • Only use spearmint or peppermint, not pennyroyal
  • Great for 'leave it' and 'watch me' training
  • Mint smell fades slightly after baking but still helps with breath
