Rich, beefy, and absolutely irresistible to dogs. Beef jerky is a classic for a reason — the deep flavour develops during the slow drying process, creating a treat that dogs will work hard for. Use lean cuts like topside or round to keep the fat content low and the shelf life long.

🥘 Ingredients

  • 500g lean beef (topside or round)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 80°C (175°F).
  2. Trim any visible fat from the beef.
  3. Slice into thin strips, 3-4mm thick.
  4. Arrange on wire racks over trays.
  5. Dry for 4-5 hours until firm but bendable.
  6. Cool completely.

💚 Storage

Airtight container 2 weeks. Fridge 3 weeks. Freeze 4 months.
