Aging digestive systems need gentler, more easily processed meals. This beef and pumpkin bowl is specifically designed for senior dogs, with soft-cooked ingredients that are easy to digest and packed with nutrients that support overall wellness in older dogs. Pumpkin is a digestive superstar that helps regulate bowel movements, while the beef provides the protein needed to maintain muscle mass as dogs age.

Nutrition Notes
As dogs age, they need easily digestible meals with high-quality protein to maintain muscle mass. Lean beef provides iron and B12, which are particularly important for senior dogs. Pumpkin's soluble fibre supports regular digestion. White rice is gentle on aging digestive systems. Cottage cheese provides calcium for bone maintenance and probiotics for gut health.
Tips
- Senior dogs often benefit from smaller, more frequent meals — try 3 meals per day instead of 2.
- Very soft, almost mushy textures are easiest for older dogs to eat.
- Warm the food slightly before serving — it enhances flavour and aroma for dogs with reduced sense of smell.
- Monitor your senior dog's weight — both weight gain and weight loss should be discussed with your vet.
