Rabbit is perhaps the most novel protein available for dogs in Australia — it's almost never found in commercial dog food, making it an excellent choice for severe allergy cases where multiple common proteins cause reactions. It's lean, highly digestible, and rich in B12. If your dog has been through chicken, beef, lamb, and even kangaroo without success, rabbit might be the protein that finally works.
