Nutrition Notes

Salmon is one of the richest sources of DHA, which is essential for puppy brain development, learning ability, and eye health. Sweet potato provides complex carbohydrates and beta-carotene. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants that support cellular health. Fish oil provides additional EPA and DHA for comprehensive omega-3 coverage.

Tips

  • DHA is most important during the first 12 months — this is when the brain develops most rapidly.
  • Always check salmon thoroughly for bones, especially for puppies.
  • Blueberries can be served fresh or frozen — frozen ones are fun for teething puppies.
  • This recipe supports not just brain health but also a shiny, healthy coat.
