This recipe takes the raw feeding philosophy and applies gentle cooking for safety. The beef is quickly seared on the outside while remaining rare inside, killing surface bacteria while preserving the natural enzymes and nutrients that raw feeders value. Adding a small amount of liver provides a concentrated hit of vitamins A and B12 that's hard to match from any other food source. It's the best of both worlds.

π Nutrition Notes
Searing kills surface bacteria (where contamination typically occurs) while preserving internal nutrients and natural enzymes. Liver is nature's multivitamin β rich in vitamin A, B12, iron, and copper. The egg adds high-quality protein and additional nutrients. This meal mimics the nutritional profile of a prey-model raw diet with added safety.
π‘ Tips
- Use only the freshest, human-grade meat from a trusted butcher
- Liver should make up no more than 10-15% of the meal
- Wash all surfaces and utensils thoroughly after preparation
- Not suitable for puppies, pregnant dogs, or immunocompromised dogs
β οΈ Important: Raw feeding carries risks including bacterial contamination. Always use human-grade meat, handle with strict hygiene, and consult your vet before starting a raw or gently cooked diet. Not recommended for immunocompromised dogs, puppies, or households with young children or elderly people.
